1. The Government of the Philippines (GOP) has applied for a Loan from the World Bank
toward the cost of the Abandoned-“ltuctr’ve’CIosed Mines Rehtxbflitanbn Project, and it intends
to qiply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for the Construction of
Diversion Channel Pipeline (Laying of 100 mm Dtwneter Water Supply Pipe from Spring to the
Two (2) Concreter Water Storage Tanks In Western Samar). Contract No.A.1CMRP-01.
2. The Department of Envtronment and Natural Resources Mmes and Geoscientific
Bureau Centml Oﬁice now invites bids for the Cfonrtntctton of Diversion Channel/Ptpelme.
Completion of the Works is required by 180 days. Bidders should have completed, within two
description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section
11. Instruction to Bidders.

the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 9184 (RA 9184),
otherwise lmown as the Government Procurement Reform Act. Subject to exceptions stated in
this Bidding Documents. only Bids from Bidders who pus an eligibility check will be opened.
The Bidder with the Lowest Calculated Bid (LCB) shall advance to the post-qualiﬁcation stage
in order to ﬁnally determine its responsiveness to the technical and ﬁnancial requirements of
the project. The contract shall then be awarded to the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder
( LC RB) who has determined as such during post-qualiﬁcaion.
4 The documents required in the Eligrhility Documents shall be wbmitted as part of the
Technical Documents of the Bidders as provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain ﬁtrther information from the Bids and Awards
Committee and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9:00 am to
4:00 pm. Mondays to Fridays.
